The Small Animal Echocardiography Lab serves as a key platform supporting cardiovascular research. The core team provides expertise, training, consultation, equipment access, and conducts both echocardiographic scanning and data analysis.

Echocardiography offers the versatility to perform rapid and comprehensive assessments of myocardial function, as well as valvular and vascular structures in animal models. This non-invasive technique is ideal for serial evaluations of cardiac function or for real-time monitoring during and after pharmacological or therapeutic interventions. Protocols are flexible and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of each researcher.
